My visual culture has been informed by the great 20th century photographers, like Henri Cartier Bresson, Jacques Henri Lartigue, Guy Le Querrec, William Eggleston, Gary Winogrand... 60's/70's French cinema (especially the Nouvelle Vague) is a component of my style as well. My previous career as a musician in Europe gave me a unique understanding of intersections between artistic movements, fashion and culture.

I am a documentary photographer at heart; on a wedding day, I am a discrete collector; not a director. However, hyper realism and strict photojournalism have never been my cup of tea. What is more interesting to me is to find that space where carefree authenticity meets romanticism. In other words, the quest of classic beauty remains central to my approach as an artist.
